About Carli

Carli Weiler-Rowan's volleyball journey began at Mother McAuley High School, where she played four years before earning a scholarship to play at Michigan State University. Since then, she has stayed closely connected to the game through coaching roles at the youth and collegiate levels, including Michigan State, St. Ambrose (both the men's and women's programs), Mother McAuley, and Latin School of Chicago.

Carli also co-founded and co-directed Cityside Volleyball Club, where she helped build programming centered on athlete development and community engagement. She also founded Volley Chicago, a private training company, which she merged with The Volleyball Institute (TVI). There she served as the Illinois Hub Leader for private training, developing athletes, supporting coaches, and building structured pathways for skill growth.

After a few years focused on her growing family, Carli is back on the court as a player herself, and that experience reignited her passion for in-person coaching. Set the Path VB is the result: personalized training for players of every age, built on decades of playing and coaching experience. Carli also guides athletes and families through the college recruiting process, from the first skill session to the next level.
